A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was too small.

The little girl stated that Dave was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven, I will ask Dave".

The teacher asked, "What if Dave went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".

Just surfin around on the web and stumbled across this cool site... Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps and Google Earth... it provides a 360° panoramic street-level views... its a good way to see the surroundings around your destination... site launched back on May 25, 2007... in the beginning only five American cities were included... it now has expanded to hundreds of locations in the United States, France, Italy, Australia and Japan...

Aye I was in my Writing for the Mass Media class today and my teacher showed us this video on youtube.com I wasn't sure what to expect when he first started talking about it but after I saw it i was very touched (no homo). It made me think about my kindred spirits, so check it out.

This is a story about a husband and wife who are waiting at a nearby bus stop with their nine children. Shortly afterwards, a blind man joins them and decides to wait for the bus as well. When the bus arrives, they find it overloaded with passengers and only the wife and the nine kids are able to fit onto the bus.

So the husband and the blind man decide to walk to their intended destination. After a while, the husband gets irritated by the ticking of the stick of the blind man as he taps it on the sidewalk, and says to him, "Why don't you put a piece of rubber at the end of your stick? That ticking sound is really driving me crazy."

The blind man replies, "If you had put a rubber at the end of YOUR stick, we'd be riding the bus, so shut the hell up."

I mean every other 30 minutes i heard this... in the car, mall, Walter's, and the clubs... @ first i thought the hook was "wats up wit the kitty"... but that wasnt it... after inquiring a little more i found out what was really being said... he might not be the next lyrical great rapper, but its all entertainment... this song is catchy and gets straight to the point...

TRiBuTe 2 Aaliyah... 1/16/79 - 8/25/01

On August 25, 2001, just after finishing the filming of "Rock the Boat", Aaliyah and members of her crew boarded a twin engine plane traveling back to the states from the Bahamas. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff. Despite her short career, Aaliyah sold over 32 million records worldwide and is still considered one of the greatest singers ever.

First off... Congratulations to the USA Men's Basketball team for winning the gold @ the 2008 Beijing Olympics (i never had a doubt)... i watched and enjoyed every game... nobody is on our level... from D. Wade commiting theft, Lebron bullying the foreigners, CP3 dribbling the ball like a yo-yo, Melo showing the perfection of his jumper, to Kobe doin the MVP... i loved every minute... i couldn't help but notice Nike outfitting most if not all the jerseys and shoes for many countries... okay... but where was Jordan... for someone who has put such a staple on the game, i couldn't help but notice Michael Jordan and the Jordan brand missing... WAT UP WIT DAT?... here are some suggestions that could have topped off my olympic basketball experience while pulling me in to Jordan-newness...

1. instead of Nike doing all the uniforms, Jordan could've did the USA and Nike the rest of the world

2. MJ himself could have showd up for a game... if he did, i ain't see him

3. the whole team should have had on J's (exceptions-D. Howard, C. Bosh, and D. Wade)

4. for the Gold Medal game they should've had on the Olympic 6Rings

Well, the summer is almost over... As i look back i clearly can say it was a success... My bro, Jonathan, was up here for the majority... BFAM, Rik found his way back home... Activities included movies... IronMan, Speed Racer, The Strangers, Zohan, Incredible Hulk, i didn't see The Happening (but will chk it @ $1.50), Hancock, The Dark Knight (3Xs, lol), Step Brothers (i was sick, $1.50), Pineapple Express, and Tropic Thunder... the occasional swimming and tanning... shouts out to Biltmore (free of charge) and the pool rats @ LakeSide apartments pool... the music this summer was crazy... Carter 3 (2Xplatinum), Lloyd-Lessons In Love, Seeing Sounds, Gucci Mane mixtapes and much more... too many to list... o, anthem Cookies-Juney Boomdata (look'em up)... with the long days came the crazy nights... bar-hopping with the ladies/superstars... shouts out to PB's and Stool Pigeons... sending a special thanks to cousin Cori and Alcide... Atlanta was bananas and ice cream... 5 Points, Atlantic Station, H&M, Wish, Lennox, and Urban Outfitters... shoppin spree, GUCCI!.. special thanks to the following: the McNeills,Kaylah Dell, LC, Dominique Coop, Kirk, V, Kellz, Keiona, Eilean, Phaderka and Kiesh, P & H, G-Boro crew... and cant forget the fellas: Jon, Amir, Rik, Rahne, Keare, Mike, Nickelodeon, Daniel Roland... and GRIZ... if i forgot anybody else there is always next summer.
